Hang in there! Yeah, that does suck but definitely take the time to evaluate things and see if you need the money (live easy, pay bills, etc.).

My friend had a situation not too long ago in his IT job where there's a joker who does gay things as jokes. When he was working on a computer, the joker went behind him and started rubbing himself on my friend when he was bending over. My friend wanted to kick his ass and told the supervisor but all the guys just laughed it off like a joke but my friend was livid. Unfortunately, the job paid extremely well but the environment was just immature. But he stuck with it for a little while.

I had a situation when I was younger and working for an Internet startup and we had this 90 year old owner of the startup and he came by my desk and commanded me to look for porn on my computer. I told him no and he gave me this big sh*t that I was insubordinate. So, I gave in and did what he said and then he started asking me questions of what I thought about women who would do those things and very nasty questions and he was like into looking at the porn. At the time, I was like...man...I'm just surfing the web for porn sites for this guy and getting paid for it. Most guys wouldn't mind doing that but man, I felt very ashamed by being directed to do that kind of crap for someone and let alone answer his stupid questions.

I'm sure one time or other, we had our share of crappy management. But hang in there if you have to. If not, you'll find a better paying job elsewhere.

Thanks a lot for your comments and advice. It's nice to know that i'm not the only one who has to deal with a lot of sh*t in the work world. but wow, sorry to hear that you had to go through that kind of stuff at your past job. well, mine, it's a lousy regular office job. and it does not pay much at all, cannot even support myself on it, have to live with roommates. not only that it does not even have any benefits at all, no holidays, no nothing. i had lots of way better jobs than this one, which paid well and had all the benefits. it was hard getting something and that is why i ended up with this lousy job. i just did it because i was out of work for too long. but now i'm not going to take it anymore.

yeah same here, they basically telling me that my job is worth diddly and make feel worthless. they're treating me really bad, worse than those in indenture servitude. i do all the g**d**n work and they do nothing but go shopping and sh*t. i do every freakin work there is and get no respect and lousy pay.

Many Thanks for the words of encouragement.
*sigh* I'm going to enjoy this "Long Vacation" (hence, one of my favorite J-Doramas) and look for something better.
