I would think not, since the insurance company would probably consider that elective surgery...

20-25mph?? Hard to believe there was no damage, considering that the shitty bumpers on most (all?) cars can barely pass a 5 mph bumper-basher test...
Yikes, sounds like a low-grade case of whiplash... Don't know if you want to pursue filing a claim with your/her insurance company... Might not be worth the hassle...

However, today was crazy. Had an interview for a job at a real estate escrow company. Got home and got a call for another interview at another mortgage company. Shortly after that, I got another call for a second interview for the company that I just came home from an interview. I'm stoked. :metaldevil:

It wasn't like parking and bumping something/someone. I heard a muffled boom and was thrown forward and then backward. I almost hit my head on the steering wheel. As I've said, I'm shocked there was no damage. It was an Oldsmobile Alero vs. Ford Taurus. I know nothing about either car :beaten: The Alero was green and my work car is white, there wasn't any white on her car nor green on mine, lol.
I think it is something like whiplash, maybe it's a technical term for it. I don't know, I never knew anyone with it so I don't know the symptoms of it. All I know is my head hurts, I get a little dizzy sometimes, and I'm getting random pains in my neck and back.
I doubt we'll be pursuing anything unless the company is looking for reimbursement for costs of my medical care that worker's comp is paying for. I wouldn't be filing any claims because I was on the job at the time. The company does all that stuff because they are responsible to pay for me firsthand.
bmwracer wrote:I suppose it had to have been at least less than 35mph or that woman's airbag would have gone off in her car...
I'm sure it felt like you were hit hard, but you've gotta remember that a typical car is around two tons, so it dooesn't take much speed to create a sizeable jolt... Gee, I guess I do remember some of my Physics.

Well, that's good: saves you from all of the hassles of dealing with the insurance company...

Was.
Went to the second interview today and expected to make a killing. Didn't seem like I put a single dent in that lady. Got a call later on today from the company and they told me that the final decision will be made tomorrow and that I'll be contacted of the result.
Now I can't sleep. :beaten:
All I can do is pray. In the meantime, I'll return that call for an interview from another job I sent my resume to.
dochira wrote:Funny, same thing here. Half of the people went on an extended holiday break, and the productivity loss because of the morning fire drill hasn't fully recovered.
bmwracer wrote:
Is that a real fire drill or a Chinese one? :hehe:
dochira wrote::hehe: A real one, which happens once a year. Hmm, I wonder what would happen if a real emergency happens during a drill. I know that people here expect the drills to occur, so I wouldn't think there would be panic. :headscratch:
