Congratulations ahochaude! :applaud: Wishing you all the best in your new job!

Don't worry about it... If they were to fire you or lay you off would they give you two weeks notice?
Yeah, it's proper etiquette, but like you said, this is your big opportunity...

Congrats Aho. :applaud:
As for your other job, I'd talk with your sups about the situation. If they had half a heart, they'd understand.

The Queen was in top mincromanagement form: Incompetence beyond belief.

That must be rough. Luckily we (the team) convinced management to reduce doing that stuff. We say it lowers our sense of empowerment and morale. And they seem to listen. Whew.

I've gotta bring that up in the next staff meeting... Whenever that is. :shakehead:
The micromanaging usually rears its ugly head when manufacturing falls behind (lack of enough manpower) and engineering has to bail them out.

It's worth a shot. We have an annual survey where we voice our concerns. This point usually comes up every time. So each year, the micromanagement lessens. :) Now if we could only reduce the processes needed to do things, our productivity would increase.
