Thanks to bmwracer, I have been watching a number of past episodes of this show. I have to admit it's addictive and a lot more entertaining than much of the dorama I have seen in recent months. For example, it's both hilarious and so over-the-top to see the judges groan orgasmically over white bread or moan ecstatically about salt. The travel segments where the special ingredients are highlighted are informative and do a good job in showing the pride, industriousness, and meticulousness of the people producing these ingredients. Like any good dorama, the final presentation segment effectively builds to the climax: the pace becomes urgent; Miyake, Sekiguchi, and the two reporters cheer on the chefs; and the guest judges are whipped into a frenzy as the plates near completion. Very entertaining theater.

Hey, if you're interested in Dotch, we can trade blanks for recordings. :)

bmwracer:

I have been searching for this show with English subtitle for some times. Would you be interested to distro them? I live in UK but if you prefer trading I can send you the blank DVDs.

Thank you.

Distribution? Nah.

I think Dochira was planning to make them available via BT, if he had the time to upload the episodes... Or maybe shin2.

I am a little embarrassed to say that I don't have the first clue as to how to do this since I don't visit those types of sites. Also, I use dial-up, which I understand is something of a hindrance in this regard.

LOL, I'm on dial up, too. :hehe:

I thought I was the only one here.

Well, knowing that, I guess it's all on Dochira's shoulders. :beaten:

That only makes your 35k posts even more impressive lol.

I hope Dochira can do it then :)
