was pretty popular back in '95, decline in viewership for the last 5 years or so.

i recall them saying on the show that the total taping time can be up to 5 hours.

Five hours of being enticed by all that food, and you might not even eat. :banghead: No wonder the losers seem so ticked off.

I've heard of Dutch chocolate and German chocolate, but never Belgian chocolate. I'm going with the pudding (besides K.T.'s girl is on that side :naughty: )

Never heard of Belgian chocolate, huh?

I'm not sure if it's still there, but there was one (Neuhaus) in South Coast Plaza... Excellent chocolates.

Yeah, it's an older episode, with the two voting sessions and the tiny, tiny samples for all of the judges.

And then there's Aya. :)

I guess K.T. will want a copy of this episode once I'm done editing it. ;)

my dad was telling me how he and my uncle bought were at the airport, and he bought two boxes of that guys chocolate for my cousin. Roughtly $60 for a 8 piece box.

The lamb dish is called gengiskan. Does it have anything to do with Ghengis Khan?

this is one of the few shows on TV that i watch regularly...

---------
the gril has a ring around the bottom, instead of what we have here.. the juices drip off into a catch basin... just the concept of having the juices collect at the bottom of the grill and have that "moat" filled with beed stock already is VERY good. using that juice/stock later to make chapche or even udon later on is something that would be very desirable.

if you eat at enough korean bbq places, you'll see that sometimes they have a set menu where you get rice or noodle after the meat is done. the rice/noodle is cooked ont he same grill using the oil and some of the hot sauce paste. having the juice collected and used in that portion of the meal would increase the flavor a few fold.

cholesterol on the other hand could get out of hand... but it could be worth it once in a while.

LOL. :hehe:

I guess it's a little known fact that aside from being a conqueror, he was also a pretty fair cook. ;)
