LOL. I owe it all to not having a life. :beaten:

I hope Dochira can do it then :)

If he has the time... I've got 60+ episodes on disc.

Distribution? Nah.

I think Dochira was planning to make them available via BT, if he had the time to upload the episodes... Or maybe shin2.

Sorry, I missed the post that Dochira will be posting them.
Thanks.

To be honest, I'm not sure if Dochira actually committed to posting those shows for download... It was tentative at best.

I suppose I can't disappoint now. I'll try to batch encode stuff while I'm at work and then post them in chunks. I'll experiment with the episodes BMW has sent me some time this week.

You shouldn't bust your hump to do it if you don't have the time, Doch.

I read somewhere (Televiews column on the Daily Yomiuri website?) that cooking shows are both plentiful and popular on Japanese TV. That got me to wondering if there's ever been a dorama where the setting was a cooking show. I would think that the many dynamics of such a show like Dotch would lend themselves to some interesting story lines. You've got a competition format, celebrity judges, quarreling co-hosts, and dueling chefs. Then throw in all the behind-the-scenes people--producers, directors, reporters, etc.--and all those people who are interviewed and featured on each show, and you should have enough material to come up with some interesting stories. And let's not forget the most important ingredient of all--food, a subject that is near and dear to most people.
