I haven't looked too far into it, but DVD Flick has been mentioned on the videohelp forums: http://www.dvdflick.net/index.php

Chapter functions? as in skipping a few mins, or seperate episode chapters?
But I guess I'm more like: you wanna borrow something watch? you will watch whatever format I provide. ok that sounded kinda harsh...
know what? to hell with them! (and the ones who never return your stuff) :hehe:

Chapters within episodes: When I author my DVDs, each episode is broken down into roughly ten chapters, about five minutes each...
That way, if I need to jump to a scene for any particular reason, I can do it without having to hold the fast foward button forever...

I guess I'm more considerate than you. :beaten:

That's exactly what I do. Create 5 minute chapters.

That's another thing I like about ConvertXtoDVD: It does chapters within eps automatically, without having to set them (you can set the chapter length though) . About the only thing it doesn't do, is let you have a separate screen to actually choose a chapter. And you can't make fancy buttons for each ep. But i'm happy with what it does :)

I can do that using TMPGEnc DVD Author: I can choose chapters by time intervals, number of chapters, or manually. :)
Ah, I see then your divxplayer sucks if it can't skip in segments, with the Xbox I can, you just press -> (right) on the d-pad and you can skip in segments of 2 mins, press ^ (up) and you skip in 5 mins segments, and you can adjust these segments to your own choice too.
it's not a thing of being considerate, more like far too often people are just spoiled. And I don't have time to waste on them, like I know people who are too lazy to download themselves while they have fast connections :usuck:

Can you convert/save the ISO file as a standard DVD-Video format with VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders?
If so, then use can use DVD Shrink to compress it to fit a more common 4.7GB DVD disc...
If it's an .iso, it's a disc image which means it's an exact copy of a DVD. If you have a double layer DVD burner, all you need is a double layer disc and you can burn it with your DVD burning software. Otherwise, as beem said, you can use DVD Shrink to make it fit on to a normal DVD. If it were me and I had a 7.5G iso, I'd use Daemon Tools to create a virtual drive and mount it, then use DVD Shrink to make it smaller.

Right on.

In my experience I have found clonedvd2 to be the ideal software to shrink a double disc to a single disc. It also has a neat intermediate screen where you can eliminate unneeded junk on the DVD. I found it even better for me (as you know I must have super quality and it hurts to shrink double to single) in that for instance a concert - each music segment is listed and you can check the ones to burn. So I burn half to one disc and the other half to another disc and copy the menu to both discs. The menu still works fine for the copied segments. yippeee..
I need to copy the (very expensive concerts from Tokyo bought) to eliminate the stupid useless region code so I can play them on my portable DVD player at the spa while on the elliptical machine.
:victory:
PS: CloneDVD is super user friendly.... you can almost run it with your eyes closed. :dancing:
Yes it is a concert of four dics consisting 7 gb each, I pretty much prefer to split it into 2 disc, anyway where I could find the dvdshrink program?? or the clonedvd??

You can get both programs from Videohelp.com.
I think you'll save yourself a lot of grief and frustration by shrinking the 7GB file to one disc using DVDShrink using the methos A-Dad pointed out... Spanning the 7GB over two discs is messy and you'll have to swap discs midway through your program. :shakehead:
You'll find that the compression algorithm for DVDShrink works very well and there's no noticeable loss in video quality... Except to those who are Type A. :beaten:
It depends on the movie, if the DVD9 is like 8gig+ I don't use DVDshrink. (When the compression is near 50%) But usually stripping unwanted audiostreams can usually save you 500mb already. (like director comments, dubs or stereo/DTS whichever you prefer)
If the movie has to be compressed above 80% and there's lots of highspeed action involved, I use DVDrebuilder to re-encode the entire movie. I usually strip trailers too, I mean what the heck do I want those trailers for when I have the full movie already. Depending on interviews or making offs I usually encode those at lower bitrate. I always strip commercials and FBI warnings too.

Well I'm gonna shrink it then, cause double layer dvd-r its around US$ 3,25 while normal dvd-r is only US$ 0.50 here
Thanks for your help guys :say_thanx:

:shamefulcry: I use DVDshrink but the file won't go below 5gb consist of 3,6 gb movie and 1,4 gb audiostream(is there anyway I could shrink this audio file with dvdshrink?)

Have you stripped the audiostream down to the bare minimum?
Can't you increase the compression to make it fit?
