Alrighty, so I managed to convert a few episodes of Cupid (for cori). So for each episode I have a VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder. How do I burn more than one episode onto a disk since the VIDEO_TS files all have the same names? :headscratch:

Since you're using a Mac, I might handball this to krim..
This is why I like ConvertXtoDVD. It does it all for you :beaten:

So the program you use does all the episodes together? I'm wondering if manually changing the file names would work. Example = VTS_01_1.VOB for episode one can be changed to VTS_01_2.VOB for episode two, etc.

Yeah, I think so. But whacking it into a dvd player won't get you a menu or anything like that, so you'll need a DVD authoring progie too.

Well I can use iDVD for that, but then I'll have to find a way to hardsub a drama. Right now I have the subs as soft selectable ones for the drama. If I hardsub, I can easily make it into a DVD.
Bah!

Like I said, I know nothing of what's available for Macs. But the problem I had was similar to yours. I wanted to turn avi files and softsubs into a DVD with subtitles. I didn't want to hardsub because of the extra step involved, so I settled on ConvertX after trying various other progs.

I think that will be the best bet. I just don't want to hog his comp from him if it takes long (the process), so I'll see what Krim has to say first and then decide. If I can make it work on the mac, that'll be the best thing for me.

If you use ConvertXtoDVD, you can just start the job before you go to bed and it'll be done when you wake up. :)
Yeah, but you could always do what I do: Get everything set up, then start the converting/burning process just before going to bed.
*edit* Beem beat me to it :puppydog:

Really?!
Then I think I'll try it. Bro's comp is really quiet so I don't think he'll mind if I ask him to leave it on at night.

Better yet, just send it to me and I'll take care of it.

Send you the dramas?

I use DVD2OneX2, the "merge multiple movie title" option.

Is this an entirely different program from FF?

Yeah.
Y'know, damsel in distress, guy on white horse thing... :beaten:
Or if you tell me what dramas they are, I can just download/hardsub/etc. from here.... :)

I think the whole point was that Wyn-chan wanted to learn how to do it herself :beaten:

Now I'm gonna have dreams. :naughty:

It's what AD said. I wanna learn. I mean, I don't need them for myself. I'm just learning because Cori prefers DVD format instead of Data, like many people do. So I'm just learning for trading purposes. Besides, I don't wanna throw loads of work at you, tho thanks for the offer. :muack: :glomp:
