Spoiler — click to revealNodame was outside and Franz told her that she can't be Chiaki. Why is that? :shakehead:

Spoiler — click to revealStresemann told Nodame that she couldn't be with Chiaki basically because she wasn't dedicated enough to the piano like Chiaki was to conducting... Stresemann knew that Chiaki's conducting would ultimately lead him to Europe and unless Nodame made a serious commitment, she would be left behind... That's why she went screaming back into the school to practice her piano.... Mukyaaa...!!! :D

I'd like to offer my 2 cents' worth on this.

Spoiler — click to revealStresemann was drawing a parallel between his past encounter (with Momodaira Minako) and Nodame's situation. As Beemer said Stresemann knew Chiaki was going to be a big success - just as Minako was - and that he'll be 'up in the clouds', unreachable for Nodame unless she attained success too. I think it wasn't just commitment to music (piano) that Stresemann was talking about, but setting a goal higher than kindergarten teacher - high enough to be side by side with Chiaki.

:D if you loved the JDorama and love Chiaki and Nodame then you better watch the specials :D since something great happens towards the end of the second episode :D  :dancing: oooh It's such a great thing!!!! its a definite must see!

If you cant tell from the above I REALLY enjoyed watching it even if it did run into 12hours of continuous Nodame from morning until about 2 am the next day. Well it was worth it!!

I need more Nodame!!!!

You need to start setting up Saturday marathons; hell, invite your friends and brainwash them to join your Juri cult, I'm sure that wouldn't be hard for you to attempt. :hehe:

Most of the shows I've watched 'on an whim' (ie Iryu 1, Dragon Zakura) I've done 1-shotters; it's definitely a lot better than sitting waiting on a cliffhanger for the next episode to be subtitled if necessary.

First, I gotta get some friends. :beaten:

Especially if the subber pulls the plug and stops subbing a show... *cough* Jiko Keisatsu 2 *cough* Okusama wa Majo *cough* *cough* :grumble:

It's not deranged its just er...addicted....after watching the first few episodes who could stop?
Besides it was a Saturday I had a lot of free time....ooh and I always try to finish one series in a day I don't like cliffhangers. :D its how I managed to watch almost 20 shows in the limited time of 3 weeks :woot: I think thats a record...I don't recommend it to anyone though 1 series a day is damaging to your sleep pattern as well as studies...my teachers weren't happy when I told them I had no homework to give in :P

I know I should be posting over at DA about this, but I don't want to run into any spoilers.... Anyone know if the 1024x768 RAW version works with the softsubs?

I think so. I understand the timing is the same.
