1. | Comments by Kitsuchi [Rating: 10/10] Really enjoyable dorama. I wouldn't guess that Kamenashi Kazuya could portray an excellent detective like that. He was really playing good.
I also liked seeing Tanaka Koki and Nakamaru Yuichi even though it was barely anything. Especially when Nakamaru haven't been in any doramas before, it was fun seeing him for some seconds anyway.
So, I enjoyed and liked this special very much. It was entertaining and exciting. Although, I could actually guess who the suspect could be around the half of the special or something, but I wasn't sure. Anyway, even though I don't even like "scary" movies, I think I liked it because of the great cast. Which is actually why I even began watching it, to see Kame and some other. The plot and storyline went well and I wasn't bored at all.
I highly recommend it to everyone. Even though this should be a serious special, or something, you get to see some funny and joking Kame to lighten up the mood at times ^_^~ |
2. | Comments by apple_grenade [Rating: 5/10] Ok, I am a HUGE fan of the Kindaichi franchise. Manga, gaiden, anime, ova, tv series, and movie. I love mystery, and the Kindaichi storyline, while repetitive, usually presents a good mystery.
Therein lies the first problem with this movie: The mystery? Is not a mystery. That is, in the sense that, it is way to easy to solve.
The actors are so-so. I'm not much of a Kame fan, so, sorry, no gushing from me. The setting, nothing new. The most memorable thing about it all was the "Kindaichi Hajime v Kaneda Ichiichi v Kaneda Wan Wan" part. If you've watched this movie, you'll know what I'm talking about.
And hey, what are the odds that more than one member of the population of a remote village has a super-rare blood type. Then again, whatever means to bring a more or less happy conclusion, I guess. |
3. | Comments by donna8157 [Rating: 9/10] The story played out in typical Kindaichi-narration style with an odd horror-like beginning and an interesting way in which Kindaichi was able to figure out "whodunnit". This special takes place before the other Kindaichi series and shows his insecurity in solving cases. It was different in that sort of manner, but not any less than the other series.
Kamenashi did a surprisingly great job as the young sleuth. I liked how he was able to bring back Dohmoto Tsuyoshi's more fun-loving and antic-creating Kindaichi rather than Matsumoto Jun's more series and cool version. Overall, this special was well done and I would highly recommend watching it. |
4. | Comments by rikastar [Rating: 6/10] I'm a huge Kindaichi fan so I was really excited about this SP! Kame's version of Kindaichi is a lot more playful and cheeky compared to this senpais. Then again, this was set in the time of Hajime's 1st case when he was still against following in his grandfather's footsteps, plus I don't see why the characters has to be EXACTLY the same. I miss the old Inspector Kenmochi though. The comic timing and acting of this new one is really... off. The storyline for this SP is too weak, I could guess who the culprit is way too early. >_< |
5. | Comments by Ahiko [Rating: 9/10] Although I love Kamenashi Kazuya's performances, this didn't rival Matsumoto Jun's as 2nd generation Kindaichi. The vampire was kinda ehh.., but the story seemed a little more predictable than usual [MatsuJun stories], although it did set itself apart from MatsuJun's mysteries in an interesting way.. I might have to rewatch this to re-evaluate my thoughts on this drama.. mixed feelings. |
6. | Comments by ABINTRA [Rating: 5/10] It was OK. I didn't figure out who the killer was, but I figured out the tricks behind the murder basically... it wasn't exceptionally clever. Not much character development, but that might be because this is the first Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo thing I've seen. I'd recommend it only if you really like mysteries or are already a Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo fan. |
7. | Comments by sukichan [Rating: 6/10] wo0t xD of course my sis n I wanted to watch this coz there's kame in it .. >_> n it turned out that kindaichi is pretty good =) nvr got attracted to the anime/manga :P the cast was fine, (though the plot was predictable , not much suspense..the vampire thingy was funneh D_D ) I enjoyed watching it esp when I was dead bored X) kame-chan did well I guess ~ *-* |
8. | Comments by moonchyld [Rating: 6/10] kame didn't feel and look the part.. i hope he changes his style once in a while, esp since he's doing different (or maybe not) characters in different dramas. watching this, i miss tsuyopon's kindaichi - suspenseful, intriguing, intelligent, and you really feel like he has this mysteriously wise mind & soul behind his foolish demeanor. |
9. | Comments by shikka [Rating: 10/10] this series is a must watch for kindaichi lovers...
1st of all, nothing to do with the actors...the storyline is impressive n interesting ....the only part that is bad about it that is ....it only contain one case only!!!!!!
next....about the actor....kamenashi present it as well as doumoto n jun.....definitely worth watching!!!!! |
10. | Comments by nienna [Rating: 7/10] I'm looking at Kindaichi at a totally different perspective...so much different from the kindaichi i read in manga. It was kinda boring but it got more interesting at certain parts. The actress playing the character 'Miyuki Nanase' was so baka tat i couldn't stand her! and inspector Kenmochi is too cool forhis character. LOL!!! |
11. | Comments by michiru3 [Rating: 7/10] I don't like detective stories, but this wasn't too bad. Kamenashi and Ueno did a good job. They were the only reasons why I watched the whole thing. The way Shinichi figured things out was kinda cool and the story was written nicely. But it was hard keeping track of all the characters. Wouldn't watch this again. |
12. | Comments by jica [Rating: 10/10] Though I think Kame also is too handsome to be Kindaichi, but I really like his Kindaichi... so funny and adorable. I have watched it over and over again.... A different Kindaichi from the manga. =) The girl playing Miyuki was cute too, did a good job I think. Though the case wasn't that impressive.... |
13. | Comments by nagaioyasumi [Rating: 6/10] Call me biased, but I'm very particular about how my Kindaichi's are portrayed; and while I don't think Kame acted badly, I do think he was a bad choice for the role. Miyuki and the detective were also questionable. But the case was very intriguing, and Kindaichi fans should all give this a watch. |
14. | Comments by AngelXing [Rating: 9/10] Maybe I'm bias...but because darling Kame is acting...I watched it like twice. I'm not going to compare him to his 'senpai's' because all of them put the character into Kindaichi. But two thumbs up for Kame...I think he's hilarious...and wish that this would actually turn into a drama. |
15. | Comments by enen_shun [Rating: 9/10] the old Kindaichi (domoto's type)'s back !!! Although i also like MatsuJun's version .. but i find that it's a bit too cool for Kindaichi's character ~~ enjoyed the special a lot ~~ especially watching baka Kindaichi flirting around ... lolx ~~ |
16. | Comments by chinz [Rating: 7/10] always like kindaichi series for its suspense... generally good plot... watch this story twice - once was after i liked juri... miyuki has a larger role to play in this story compared to other kindaichi cases as she was one of the suspects. |
17. | Comments by Kawaii Kinomoto [Rating: 10/10] KAME!!!! anything that is kindaichi automatically gets a 10!! PLUS anything starring kame HAS to be good!! kame as kindaichi is automatically gonna be great!! the case was pretty good too!! about vampires!:P kame was sexy in this drama!! |
18. | Comments by tachan [Rating: 7/10] Cute!!! I love the suspense of trying to figure out the muderer before Kindachi did. This drama is really episodic and doesn't really feature an ongoing plot, so its good if you want to watch something in small doses. |
19. | Comments by mmyy [Rating: 7/10] It's a mystery/detective story like Conan, which can be pretty cliche yet you don't mind watching anyway cause it's fun to piece the puzzles together in the end. Kamenashi is his usual genki self; love his acting. |
20. | Comments by Aisling [Rating: 8/10] A movie with a bit of suspense Kamenashi really make a talented actor from my point of view after seen Gokusen I tough he was the perfect cool guy but after this and Nobuta I think he can do well any kind of role |
21. | Comments by ainangst [Rating: 6/10] love kame but the styling not right....not sure bout the girl, she's a good actress but absolutly no chemistery with kame. not impressed with the overall story development. not dark enough. not intriguing enough. |
22. | Comments by tkarmina28 [Rating: 8/10] For a mystery movie, it was fairly interesting, but compared to all the mystery shows I watch in North America, this was really not up to par. It was cute anyhow and fun to watch Kame be kawaii instead of kakkoi. |
23. | Comments by Shindou [Rating: 6/10] Kame seems a bit too corny in the title role of this latest rendition of Kindaichi. Interested in how Kame will mature as an actor after this and Nobuta wo Produce. A jdorama worth watching for Kindaichi fans. |
24. | Comments by makuhita [Rating: 8/10] It's nice! ^^
Kame's acting is really good.. :)
and he's so cute, too.. ^^
The plot is kinda good. If you have read the "Kindaichi" manga.. it may feel a little different... but well, it's a good movie! ^^ |
25. | Comments by kins [Rating: 8/10] hehx. i watch the first ep. but its nice. BELIEVE me. =) but, a lot of blood scenes ne.. the ending was a surprising one. kamenashi kazuya really can act. the way he act is soooooo smoooooooth. u know.. :) |
26. | Comments by idetakun [Rating: 5/10] hm...
They should make it 1-hour-long (only)
As a part of the Kindaichi series, this special episode is a little dissapointing to me..
Too long that it sounds boring
The story, however, is interesting |
27. | Comments by kinkitsuyo [Rating: 8/10] I enjoyed the show overall.... Kame did a good job becos it's veri different from his character in Gokusen2, I think the rest of the cast did a good job too. A must watch for Kindachi series lovers! |
28. | Comments by Kotori [Rating: 8/10] Not bad. I love Kame! He is sooo kakkoi!!! *O* The story could have been a little more reasticly... but I love the part when Kame says: Boku mo itadakimasu. Chu~! kawaiiiii |
29. | Comments by joychin [Rating: 8/10] Everything about the drama is great except for the story line. The story line is SOOO unrealistic. How can SO many people be a bombay type in one country...japan?! sigh.. |
30. | Comments by Iv3_imt [Rating: 8/10] This is the first Kindachi series i watched
The story is good
Kame was also good here but i think he didnt resemble Kindaichi..i guess he is too skinny hehhehee |
