Entertaining show with a quite interesting plot with surprising turnarounds. Special effects are quite cheesy but I'm getting used to them. And Yume-no-Ke is quite scary, isn't it? :D It seems to have lots of 11-12 years old fans, and they are preparing a film. I loved Kohinata Fumiyo in Ashita no Kita Yoshio, and unfortunately he plays a quite bold character in Akumu-chan. Btw, what's the problem with japanese wigs? They are certainly horrible! Gackt's smile just pisses me off but he was quite good (although I don't like him as an actor very much).
I recommend this one if you want to watch something interesting and not too deep. |

As surprising as anything can possibly be. This has so many stupid cheesy things it should be beyond any possible redemption. Everything and everyone looks like a Mizuki Shigeru manga, and the special effects are about on par with the Power Rangers. And yet it's not only good, it's borderline great. And it's not one of those so stupid it is good things, it's clearly good in spite of it being so stupid. It's like everything outside of the stupid; the plot, music, cast, acting, etc., is so great that this is quite capable of being good. Really surprised. |

I was a bit worried that this drama would be terrible when I first heard what it was about, but upon watching it I was rather pleased. Kitagawa Keiko's performance was really good. The comic relief in this drama was also perfect. I must say I was extremely happy with "Happy Boy" Okada Keisuke actually getting a "WAOOOO" in. Kimura Manatsu is a very promising young actress. Unfortunately, not all the child actors in this drama were very good. The ballet dancer girls episode was painful to watch. |

Interesting story idea, but too much redundancy. In general, if you get bored with love-dovey or ordinary life story dorama, you might try this dorama as sidetrack :D |
