Speaking of that, have you seen your first Oblivion gate yet? Oh, and talk about the books in the game, there's like 5,000+ pages of text if you want to read them all giving the background of the Elder Scrolls.
I haven't reached an Oblivion gate yet. :pout: Right now I'm trying to discover ruins so I can find the bottles of rare wine for the lady who works at the Inn outside the main city.
Keps, it's an awesome game...you can always rent it to try it out first. IF you're used to linear RPGs it may take some adjustment.
Yea, totally. I highly recommend that you rent first, tho I'm positive that you'll enjoy this game a lot, especially if you enjoy exploring. :victory:

Yeah guys, I think renting might be the best idea - the game sounds quite unlike anything I've ever played before, and buying it might prove an expensive mistake.
I'm trying to finish Psychonauts on PS2. This last level I'm on is called "Meat Circus", and is truly bizarre - not to mention the most difficult and frustrating part of the game. :banghead:
I almost completed one part, but just couldn't do it, and it put me in a bad mood.
At the same time, I have Ratchet And Clank: Tools Of Destruction on the PS3 on the go, and it's amazing. The gameplay is not much different from the PS2 games, but if you like those, this is more of the same.
Except for using the Sixxaxis controller for some tasks, like flying. That was a new experience!

That's cool . That'll take you all over the map.... I don't know if you want a hint, so I put it in a spoiler tag. It doesn't spoil the quest, just gives a bit of direction if you want it.
Spoiler — click to revealAll of the rare wine is found in imperial fort ruins across the whole map of Cyrodiil. It took me forever to realize that. I was wasting time in Aeylid ruins and caves before that.
I started a new character since you started playing it...a high elf "blade mage". I never really played a magic based character, it's pretty cool.

Thanks for the hint! I was wasting time in caves too until I realized that the quest hints at forts, not caves. :beaten:
I was awake today at 6:30am, so I played from 6:30am to about 9:15am. It's amazing how many hours you can put in, and still be in the same spot you started in. :beaten:
I'm still playing FFX: i've been running around in the same area, levelling my characters up a bit. The Sphere Grid system takes some getting used to
For all fans of the final fantasy series i'd like to hear opinions for live action casts. Ive seen many american cast before and want to see some japanese ones. Here are some of my ideas. I don't think there great picks so i want to hear other people's suggestions.

Roflmao! What's this about an "Alma"?!
I'm still trying to complete Pyschonauts. These last bits are so frustrating, I have to really be ready to retry when I fail.
Razputin (Raz for short) - hero of Psychonauts (that's Coach Oleander behind him) -
Wooooooooooo! I finished Psychonauts today. It only took me about 32 hours to get through in total. I'm never gonna be a expert at gaming, but who cares?
The last level - I was stuck on one part for aaaages, and today I steeled myself and bloody well did it! I know it's only a game, but I feel proud.
Thinking I'm going to start Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty on PS2 next.
I'm still getting though Ratchet And Clank on the PS3.

Yay keps-chan!
I haven't been gaming for the last few days. Not enough time.... and I know there's a bit in FFX coming up that needs a bit of time to complete.

Aw...I hope you get some time to play soon. :puppydog:
I haven't played so much today - mainly because I've got a headache and don't much feel like it.
Although, I did have a go on a PS3 demo disc I got cheaply off ebay, which came today.
I've only tried the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune demo. And..hmmm. Disappointing. It's talked about as the male-fronted Tomb Raider, but on the tiny amount I've played, it's nothing like the quality of, say TR Anniversary.
Finally made the big jump to LCD and have put my long and trusted CRT monitor to the storage bin.
Jsut couldn't resist biting on the 27.5 lcd monitor to play the Witcher which incidentally, is a great RPG!!! CRT is definitely still the best when you want acurate colors and better details in dark areas. But other than that, LCD is on par.
Anyway, if you like RPG, give The Witcher a try. Verfy good storyline and a unique fighting controls.incidentally, I was already on middle of chapter 3 when i decided to clean up my drive and do some shrink and merge of volumes.... and carelessly deleted the wrong volume and wiped out all dtaa i had two days ago which was my witcher saved games... Now, I'm back on chapter 1... ah, lessons learned....
