Good.
I'm using no less than three spyware programs: Spybot, Ad-Aware, and Spywareblaster...
There's a new one from Microsoft that's supposed to be very good and is currently in beta testing, called Anti-Spyware. You can download the beta from Microsoft and try it out... It requires IE6, though.

saw one at Bestbuy, for $129.99
anyone know how well they scan?, versus just buying just a scanner 80-100$?
i know the resolution would be better with a scanner alone, than the all in one's,
48bit scan, i think that one had 600dpi.... what is considered good enough for scan quality?
your thoughts anyone?

I guess those all-in-ones are okay, but you compromise performance by having all those functions in one box, IMO.
What model is it?
If you're mainly scanning to put pics on the net (like me), I only scan at 150dpi... And all you really need is about 75dpi for the 'net. I think you'd only scan at a high resolution only if you plan to make rather large-sized print for framing or something... 48-bit is pretty much the norm, and it gives you the best color reproduction possible. :)

And if you were looking for a copier and another printer, then hey it's all right there.

True.
Hmm, if one of those functions breaks down somehow, will the other functions work? Actually, if the scanner dies, then the copier is out of commission as well and all you've got is a printer.
dochira wrote:^ Yup. But by that time, you're hopefully looking at the newer models. (*Spoken like a person in the tech field*) :hehe:
