I thought about that, but it's not a dream, it's more like a nightmare, and also, it's about my work, even tho I'm not at work. More than half a teacher's job is done outside of the classroom. :bleh:

But isn't a nightmare a dream too? Still, I agree that this is more work-related. I was just a bit envious of the long summer you're having. :beaten:

I shouldn't be posting here yet since I'm not at work. I'm still getting ready for work but i'm too busy posting here instead. Now *that's* some dedication to this forum! :beaten:

LOL!

I hate summer vacations. They're too long. I get bored and everything just slows down. A three-week vacation is good enough. Mind you, I can understand why they give us two months. There's nothing for a teacher to do, and it gives others an opportunity to make more money.

I find I can't spend too much tho. Making my last paycheck stretch for two months is kinda hard.

LOL, here we go again... I bet there's many who would swap with you ;) But it's better here cos teachers do get PAID while on summer vacation (is 6 weeks, not 2 months)

I know I know. I know people would swap with me and it's so great having two months. But I LIKE my job, and I'm a workaholic. So I don't WANT to have this much time off. Three weeks would be enough.

I'm just saying. I'm weird. :shamefulcry:

On topic: I am done, off to Spain for two weeks and I am not taking my computer nor a blackberry from work. Managed to finalise everything but I am completly tired now ... :tired:

Why don't you teach summer school then?

Extra cash in you pocket and you won't be bored as you say....

I was thinking the same thing the other day. The thing is, when summer vaca is approaching, we all really look forward to it. I mean, teaching teens can get annoying. So at the time there was no way I was going to teach summer school. Now, however, I wish I had taken it up.

And I think it pays good, too. $3600 for four weeks, or something...

So this customer calls in and says, "I ABSOLUTELY need a tech out here tomorrow to fix my DSL!!" I check my dispatch schedule and tell the customer, "O.K. we can have somebody out between 12 and 4 in the afternoon." The customer says, " I won't be here tomorrow." [/list:u] We need to start giving prospective customers a test before we sell them DSL. First question: ARE YOU A F**KING KNUCKLEHEAD??? :beatyou: :beatyou: :beatyou:

I'd send someone over to confiscate their DSL just for being stupid: people like that shouldn't be allowed on line... "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." :hehe:
