I do recall some reports that over-fried/grilled/broiled meat possibly could produce low-level toxins/carcinogens, but as with most things, moderation and common sense is the key... I don't thing having a charbroiled burger or a nice barbequed steak once in a while is gonna kill you... :)
it has been said better to eat meat well done because then can kill off the bacteria (example - ecoli (i think i spell this wrong, sumimasen).

That's true for pork, chicken, and meat that is ground up like beef, turkey, etc. because the grinding distributes the bacteria throughout the meat...
Steaks, prime rib, etc. are okay to eat medium rare... Well done steaks are like shoe leather. :bleh:
Oh, I could go either way... :puppydog: I'm so hungry now.
Edit: The result? Omelet beats katsu 4-3. It was close as both dishes looked so delicious. I don't blame them for splitting their votes. I don't know the people that didn't eat....that SMAP guy was in the majority.

We need one of those curry places in northern California. Of course I could order them from most Japanese restaurants...I also eat at Coco Ichibanya in Hawaii. But back to the show, I could have gone either way. The hayashi sauce on the rice omelet looked so good. And you can't go wrong with katsu curry.
You ain't kidding. Especially when it was 6-1 the other way after the second round.
I picked the curry cause the gyubarahan looked too much like a chinese dish... :hehe:
Yeah, I was thinking along similar lines, but the beef looked sooo juicy...
@bmw: Was that segment on last year's queen before they showed those 3 modern asian ladies part??
You mean when they talked to that Korean artist woman (she looked Japanese)?
The Nisei thing was after that... She looked much better in normal street clothes than all made up in that Nisei Queen getup... Now I've gotta go visit the site and get the straight up on her... Whew. :bonk:
