Yup! Selectable English subs, along with others. It's a DVD copy and really clear picture.

And I just checked the sale @ Office Max. $34.99 for a 100 pack of Verbatim 16x DVDs. Should I go for it or not?

Anyone know how to record .asx streaming videos? I want to grab some Yahoo Japan entertainment videos and tried GetASFStream and VLC with no luck. I don't know if it could be a firewall thing.

I can view the videos using WMP, but can't save it. :puppydog:

Didn't work for me. Maybe it's a firewall/proxy thing.

When authoring dramas to DVD, is it possible to put hardsubs and softsubs on one disc? Or do I have to somehow convert soft to hard?

And I just had to complain--I just found out that one of the dramas I authored to DVD was defective when I tried copying from a DVD-RW to regular DVD. And stupid idiot me deleted the converted file from my harddrive. Talk about 3 hours wasted! And 3 more hours to convert it again. :banghead:

I suppose you could do it, but I've never tried... That's another level of complexity...

It's best to hardsub all of 'em. :)

Ah, another lesson learned: I always keep the original until the burned copy has been verified.... Completely. :)
