All ten episodes.

The raws playback just fine, but when I try to encode...

I think it's how the audio was originally encoded... Maybe SARS did it on purpose to foil people from creating DVD-Video from the raws...

You're kidding. ALL 10 episodes?? Hmm.. wait, I'm dealing with hardsubs, so I'm guessing it's ok..

Don't know if it's intentional or not, but we're at their mercy... Just like the oddball font and font colors...

Too bad we didn't have the patience to do stuff like this. Well, it's probably just me who doesn't have the patience.

Eventually I'm going to check if my Galileo copy is ok. It seemed ok when I viewed it every 5 minutes, but perhaps it screws up during other segments.

Are you talking about the raws?

There's nothing wrong with the raws.

I thought the term "raw" was for unsubbed episodes that required softsubs. *confused*

Oh.

I always thought of raws as being the originals posted up for downloading...

Okay.

There's nothing wrong with the HARDSUBBED episodes... :shakehead:

Until you try to encode 'em.

Maybe ConvertX won't have a problem with 'em..... :)

^ Ah, I was beginning to get confused even more than I usually am. :nut:

I haven't sat down to watch the 3 episodes that I encoded, but I might do that soon just to see if it affects my copy. I hope that it's just a glitch that only happened with your first authoring job and that it works out for you if you decide to work on it again. :fingerscrossed:

Well, I'm curious to see if ConvertX will experience the same problem that TMPGEnc has with these AVIs... Hope you try it out soon.

Um, do you remember when the weirdness occured? Like, was it throughout all the or just parts of it? I'm not sure if I want to sit down in front of the TV to watch an entire episode right now.

I'd just check a little of the begginning, the middle, and the end to see if the audio is synchronized to the video... :)

My copy seems to be perfect from what I saw. I could send you a copy if you want, beem. Albeit, the menu is probably not as nice as what you're accustomed to.
