Looks good though... (starts counting out blanks for trade)

It'll be one disc per Lesson (two Lessons total)... Four blanks will suffice.

If you feel so inclined. :)

I authored the last disc of Utahime today and I found out later on that the order of the episodes was screwed up because episodes 10 and 11 came before 8 and 9. I should have checked on that earlier, but I assumed that it would be ok. Guess I was wrong, so I'm now redoing it after I typed in "08" and "09" to make sure that those episodes will come first.

*waits for beem to do the :shakehead: emoticon*

You're probably right, but it's what works for me at the moment, albeit, not too well at certain times.

No, most of it is my ditziness causing all the trouble and then blaming it on my computer or the program.

Maybe you should always consider doing trial burns using DVD-RW discs just to make sure everything's the way you want it...

It'll save you a lotta grief... And posts on this thread or the What Bothers You one... :beaten:

I have been using DVD-RWs ever since you suggested that to me, which I'm grateful for. :) It just frustrates me that I have to waste my time doing things over again. *is impatient*

Maybe you should write down the entire procedure and use it as a checklist... :)

Good idea. I usually have it set in my mind what to do, but I guess I got distracted. Ok, the trial disc is done. Now to check on if it works or not. :fingerscrossed:

The DVD was ok! :victory: The only thing that bothered me was some of the dopey comments at the end. :usuck: I wish subbers would keep it simple and stop it with the unnessary commentary because it really distracts from the story and video. :grumble: Hell if I'm going to redo this again though.

Yea, it was really bad in Anego when at the end, when credits were rolling, they were like "OMG JIN IS SO HOT!"

LOL. I'm so grateful that I got a copy of that drama from beem and he cleaned up all that crap. He also added "Dopey comments deleted by bmwracer" in the credits. Gotta love the guy.

Ah, one of my pet hates in subtitles! Along with Engrish :)

I think that Engrish is much worse because you have to decipher what the heck is going on. :grumble:

Yea, but sometiems the people subbing just don't know English all that well, so at least I'm grateful for hte subs, even if they are Engrishy. There is SO sympathy for the fangirls who use their subbing power to ship fruity-wannabe-actor boys.

Agreed.

We're at the mercy of the fansubbers to a degree and shouldn't bite the hand that feeds us...

That said, the extraneous commentary is crap.

That's why I absolutely have to edit the subs before I start hardsubbing... Else I'll go mad.

^ Oops, forgot to reply to that. I guess you guys are right. I was mostly complaining about the Malay retail versions though. With fansubbers, I'm a bit more lax because they really put in a ton of effort and I applaud them for doing a great job.

And on topic: I recorded stuff from TV with my DVD recorder and now I wanted to make a copy, but it's only able to copy 31MB of 3.92GB. This is the same for two other discs I want to make a copy of, which is really strange. Is there any way for me to do something to enable me to make copies of these discs or am I screwed? :(

Uh, what brand recorder do you have?

Did you record your program on a DVDRW, DVD, DVD-RAM?

A crappy one, obviously. The brand is Liteon, which I have never heard before. I'm thinking of getting another one because it's giving me so much trouble. Any suggestions?

And the discs were Verbatims, DVD-R. I did record one using a DVD-RW, which was a big mistake according to my brother. I wish I knew that earlier.
