Dohmoto Koichi [堂本光一] Domoto Koichi is so talented; music, acting, and performing in general. I first became fascinated with him upon watching a video of his first solo concert. Since then, I've had the opportunity to see his other concert, Endless Shock, and the drama Remote, and I've loved and been heavily impressed with what I've seen. I look forward to seeing more from him!
Fujiwara Tatsuya [藤原竜也] Saw him first in Shinsengumi; he did such a good job as Okita Souji. Then I watched him in Battle Royale and I've become interested in his works ever since!
Matsuda Shota [松田翔太] Loved him in Liar Game, and I thought he did well in Jotei and HYD/HYD2. He was so cute in a Cheerful Gang Turns the Earth! ^_^
Nakamura Yuichi [中村優一] Apparently, this first drama I saw him in was Gokusen 2... But since I wasn't aware of it at the time, I guess it doesn't really count. I first noticed Nakamura Yuichi in Kamen Rider Den-O, which I thought he did a really good job in. He's sort of become my latest interest, so I've been looking up what I can and getting all of his latest stuff. I'm really looking forward to seeing his recent movies Dokyusei, Taiikukan Baby, Shakariki, and Bokura no Hoteishiki!
Oguri Shun [小栗旬] Very attractive as Sano in Hana-Kimi. Have liked the roles he's played so far in GTO and Gokusen as well.
Sato Takeru [佐藤健] Loved him in Kamen Rider Den-O. Since then I've looked into his other dramas - PuriPuri D, ROOKIES, and recently BLOODY MONDAY.
Yamada Ryosuke [山田涼介] Hey! Say! 7 looks like it could be promising music-wise. Yamada Ryousuke-kun also seems to show some significant potential as an actor. He was very cute as Ryuu in Tantei Gakuen Q.
Yamamoto Koji [山本耕史] Yamamoto Koji was so compelling in both Shinsengumi and the special Hijikata Toshizo episode! And he's got a great singing voice too.
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Overall, this drama was very well done; acting, plot, character development. The chemistry between Yamapi and Kame was excellent; they made such a lively duo. I love the single Seishun Amigo they put together.
Remote [リモート] Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched) The female lead was so irritating at first, but I was surprised to discover that by the end of the series she had grown on me. Koichi's performance in this drama was really what did it for me though. I loved the interactions between his character and Fukada Kyoko.
Tantei Gakuen Q [探偵学園Q] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) Great cast, and although the concept isn't too original, I thought this show did fairly well. The "finale" episode was not up to par at all with the rest of the series though, and one thing that kept nagging me was that it seemed like the Q Class were never really in a pinch. I mean, they're just kids for crying out loud (except for Kinta); there should have been a bit more conflict and troubles. In comparison to other tantei dramas, I think that's where this one falls flat; they had characters that were hardly Mary/Marty Sues, but the cases were all solved way too neatly, making that not so apparent.
