Ayase Haruka [綾瀬はるか]
What a great actress! I loved her acting in Sekachuu & Byakuyakou. She & Yamada Takayuki have great chemistry on screen. Here's to hoping they'll continue on doing more dramas together! :)
Inoue Mao [井上真央]
Yeah, Tsukushi! She was adorable in "Hana Yori Dango" and I hope the sequel comes out soon!
Jinnai Takanori [陣内孝則]
A memorable performance in "Ichi Rittoru no Namida". :)
Sawajiri Erika [沢尻エリカ]
She's really really good in "Ichi Rittoru no Namida". At first I didn't believe in her talent but geez, she made the whole drama so good and I can't think of anyone else who can take on that role!
Yamada Takayuki [山田孝之]
I'm happy he's getting the exposure he truly deserves! He's one of the best J-actor of his time, I can't wait to watch Taiyou no Uta. He's such a gem in Sekachuu & Byakuyakou.

Beautiful life [ビューティフルライフ]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
one of kimutaku's memorable starrer. one of the most romantic dramas i've ever seen... too bad though i knew the ending to it cuz i've seen the pictures on a hk broadsheet and it definitely spoiled the whole drama for me! :(
Big wing [ビッグウイング]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
a lot of people thought this drama was so good they gave 10/10 for this one. at first, it has a lot of promises for a good drama. but it ended up to have lots of filler stories and deviated from the major story i was up for - the love story between the two protagonists. sadly, it didn't happen. >_>
Fighting Girl [ファイティングガール]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
it's a different drama for fukada kyoko cuz she didn't cry buckets but she did run, and run she did. does she run in all her dramas? cuz the ones i've seen had her running wildly. :)
Gokusen [ごくせん]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
I love it! Reminiscent of GTO but with a female lead. So refreshing with all the serious dramas coming out. I love Nakama Yukie (aka "Sadako" of Ring 0)! Who knew Sadako can be endearing? Hahaha. Namase Katsuhisa is such a riot - with his funny facial expressions and outrageous hairdo. Matsujun is a surprise - I didn't know he can act. I'm proud of my Arashi boy! He's not just a pretty face to draw in viewers. He's good, well better than Takizawa in "Majo no Jouken" as far as I am concerned. Anyway, if you like GTO, I think you'll love this one as well. :)
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS DRAMA!! not solely because of matsujun but because of the whole ensemble (their acting, of course) and the locations they chose to shoot at. really well thought of and the lead stars were really good. :)
Hero
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
Ok, so it wasn't A BIT as romantic as the other Kimutaku-Matsu starrer "Love Generation", but it still manages to unleash the magical chemistry between the two. Loads of funny and witty scenes in this particular drama. I personally wanted a bit more romance (since I'm way into romantic dramas) but it didn't hurt a bit with the lack thereof. But the storyline's still great and a lot of fast-paced, hard-core acting courtesy of Kimutaku himself. And may I add he looks DEE-LICIOUS sporting a leather jacket (or was it?). Haha, it's been a while since I saw this drama. :)
Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1リットルの涙]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
One of the best dramas I've ever seen. The cast are great actors in their own right, especially Sawajiri Erika who played Ikeuchi Aya. I never thought she could act with such passion. She added depth to the character and made the series really meaningful. Same goes with the actors who played her Mom & Dad. It's really a sad drama and will make you think about your life and what it really means. Geez, it's heaps better than watching meaningless "Kimi wa Petto"! Trust me. You shouldn't miss this for the world! And of course, some girls want to watch this for the sake of Nishikido Ryo. He can act and he's a cutie at that! haha. Enough! But yeah, the whole cast are superb! Worth every hour you spend on watching each episode. :)
Kamisama mou sukoshi dake [神様、もう少しだけ]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
Pretty good, but I was irritated with Fukada Kyoko's constant sniffling. She could do away with that next time and just let the tears flow! But nevertheless, pretty touching story of 'true love' that I assume everyone else desire!
Kimi wa Petto [きみはペット]
Rating: 6/10
Koishite Shinitai [恋して死にたい]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Koori no sekai [冰の世界]
Love generation [ラブジェネレーション]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
This is such a great drama by Matsushima Nanako! I like her craft and adore her so much. She's such a great actress and also a wonderful model! I SOOO envy her! :) Maybe if they got a better actor to portray Takizawa Hideaki's part, it would've been MUCH MUCH better. But in fairness to Takizawa, he's soo cute anyone could care less about his acting. Hahaha.
Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Here's Tokio's frontman Nagase Tomoya acting oh-so-loony when he's with "love-of-his-life" Takeuchi Yuko. A notable comedic performance by Nagase - from a ubercool Japanese pop idol to a slobbering, lovestruck boyfriend Sakuraba Yuichiro of Arai Sakura. Pretty neat, really. And it does remind you of "Notting Hill" but to a much comedic level. :)
Rookie!
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Nice, but not that good. Maybe it's because Doumoto Koichi's much more 'beautiful' than Uchiyama Rina. Hahaha. But I really like Uchiyama. That girl's got talent.
Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi [空から降る一億の星]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
This is NOT your usual cutesy Kimutaku drama. This is serious shit man, I tell you. Really heavy although the acting is great, especially Akashiya Sanma. A good drama for Kimutaku to show off his acting chops. The story at the first few eps were quite vague & slow but when it gets to the later part of the series then it gets interesting. If you want to see this mainly because of Kimutaku, then I suggest you get something else as this drama can be disturbing. :)
Strawberry on the shortcake [ストロベリー・オンザ・ショートケーキ]
(Watched)
A year has passed and I'm still stuck on the same drama! I still haven't got the patience to sit through this. The plot's pretty slow... the story revolves around 4 high school kids led by Takizawa Hideaki & Fukada Kyoko and their love triangles (or should I say love square). :/
Tokyo Love Story [東京ラブストーリー]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
This has got to be one of the BEST dramas in Japanese drama history. Top caliber actors, great script, great director - what more can you ask for!? The plot's that good that it definitely hits home. I guess a lot of people can actually relate to this drama because it's based more on reality than fiction (well, you know, the "Notting Hill" type). Add my five (*****) stars to my 10/10 rating, the you get 15/10! Take my word for it. You wouldn't waste your money for nothing!
With love
Rating: 3/10 (Bought & Watched)
I HATED THIS DRAMA! I don't exactly remember the details of it but one thing's for sure - I DIDN'T LIKE IT FROM START TO FINISH. The only saving grace is a hunk named Takenouchi Yutaka.

HYD vs Meteor Garden [Rating: 9/10]
I have never read the manga but saw the Taiwanese version "Meteor Garden". MG was ok, but I really thought Jerry Yan's acting was soooo lame. Everyone obviously was newbies to acting, except for Barbie Xu. With HYD! OMG, it's a different story! I love how every actor was able to portray their roles well. Too bad I haven't read the manga (now I'm searching high & low for it!). I'm not into pretty boys who can't act, (i.e, Takizawa in "Majo no Jouken") but Matsujun is really good at what he's doing. Seriously. I am very critical of my actors and Matsujun was really good at his portrayal of Domyouji. From happy to sad to mad, he was awesome. Although I'm not a fan of curly haired Matsujun but I guess that was needed in the drama. Inoue Mao also struck me as a superb actress. She's really charming throughout the series. I can't wait to see her in more shows. In the latter parts of the series the storyline went really fast. I wished they stretched the drama from 9 eps to 12 eps! Then they would've covered more of the manga. But it's all good. The locations, sets, etc were really thought of and perfect. HYD is really amazing! I can't wait to see the sequel! I hope they do come out with it! And YES, it's heaps better than Meteor Garden. TRUST ME ON THIS!!! :P
Hero
Refreshing KimuTaku-san drama! [Rating: 10/10]
Hero has a well-balanced story of comedy and drama. If you recently watched his other drama "Beautiful Life", this is different from it since it has a more mellow love story, unlike the latter. KimuTaku fans might like this one since it's spiked with lots of humor, which IMO, makes up for the lack of romance. ^_____^ I have to agree with Sarafina-san that KimuTaku-san acted really well in this one, and didn't take things at a face value.
Kamisama mou sukoshi dake [神様、もう少しだけ]
;_; [Rating: 9/10]
very beautiful, but fukada kyoko's sobs kinda irritated me. but nevermind that, it's really good, and a very heavy drama. :)
Kimi wa Petto [きみはペット]
alright [Rating: 6/10]
well..... not the best jdrama i've seen. koyuki & matsujun are just right for their roles. plot is a bit shady and dragging as well. can't say it's matsujun's best work although he's really cute as momo. i watched this drama through youtube.com so it took me longer to finish it. sometimes i also forget matsujun is "momo" and not "takeshi goda" in some of the scenes he has with koyuki and that made it tad harder to understand hehe. but in any case, i guess it's worth your time to watch and savor the matsujun yummyness. :P
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件]
bloody brilliant! [Rating: 10/10]
haah... all worth the wait. although the actors themselves didn't cry (or bawl) that much, the lines said were touching enough to make you cry. very beautiful, one of the dramas i'd recommend anyone to get. inspired from the real teacher-student relationship that happened some years back in US. :) matsushima nanako's really good in this one, no wonder she's one of my favorite japanese actress. ^_^ takizawa hideaki's acting as a troubled boy is good, but he could use a bit more emotions... really nice and touching drama. :D
Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人]
neat! [Rating: 9/10]
mukodono's a really neat drama. if you've got time (and money) to spare, you oughta watch it. the chemistry between yuko & tomoya's really cute, they're both great actors. and you should see the transition of the ubercool tomoya to really funny (and corny) tomoya. ^_~
Tokyo Love Story [東京ラブストーリー]
must see! [Rating: 9/10]
[SPOILERS!] this drama is brilliantly acted by Suzuki Honami. i really believe she's the key element in this drama. if she didn't portray her character well, this could end up as a flop. Oda Yuji on the other hand is pretty good too, but it's really sad why they couldn't end up together. a real-life drama, i guess everybody can relate to Suzuki Honami's character. ^_^
With love
So so... [Rating: 5/10]
The first drama I saw Yutaka act in. He was pretty much ok, but I didn't like the plot. For me it was kinda dragging. Anyway, if you're into the movie "You've Got Mail", you might like this one, although there ain't much comedy here. ^___^
