Friends [フレンズ] This was the first drama we watched that was both Japanese and Korean. Both main characters are very talented (and good looking, which always helps, hee hee), and the series addressed some very interesting cultural issues, even if it was a bit lopsided...
Gokusen [ごくせん] Lots of eyecandy ^^ Plus it was very entertaining, if a bit idealistic. Sawada Shin's character was very deftly acted by Matsujun, and of course we loved Uchi ^^
Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん2] More eyecandy xD Even though it's not the same without Sawada Shin, the writers did a good job creating an entirely new class with a whole new set of problems for Yankumi to tackle ^^ Very entertaining ^^
Kimi wa Petto [きみはペット] We stumbled across this drama by accident and were immediately drawn to the premise. What DOES happen when a woman tries to hold an asexual position of power over a younger boy who lives with her?
Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人] This was one of the first jdoramas we watched completely, and we were very pleased with the way things were resolved in 1 episode ^^ Plus, Takeuchi Yuko is really sweet and cute, and so is Tomoya Nagase ^^
Stand UP!! Very entertaining ^^ Lots of eyecandy xD Love Nino's acting too ^^
Tiger & Dragon [タイガー&ドラゴン] We first watched the special (without subs) and were very intrigued by the whole Jekyll/Hyde yakuza/Rakugo scenario. Both Okada & Tomoya do an excellent job and the drama is refreshing and entertaining ^^
Yoiko no Mikata [よい子の味方] very sweet drama, chock full of Arashi cameos ^^ Sakurai Sho does a good job portraying sunny Taiyou-sensei ^^
Mylani's artiste votes (9)
Aiba Masaki [相葉雅紀] The first Arashi boy we saw act, we weren't too impressed with his very small role in Mukodono at first, but we've been more impressed with the other things we've seen ^^
Hayami Mokomichi [速水もこみち] We expect great things from this boy! Tall, good looking... ^^ He has a bit of growing to do as an actor, but he's still young ^^
Matsumoto Jun [松本潤] Matsujun got us into Arashi, hee hee ^^;; We were honestly surprised by his acting abilities, especially since he's primarily a singer.
Nagase Tomoya [長瀬智也] His performance in Mukodono! is what got us interested in jdoramas ^^ He's very good at conveying strong emotions, whether it's through giddy hyperness or passionate tirades.
Ninomiya Kazunari [二宮和也] Another boy who impressed us with the breadth of his acting abilities, despite being primarily a singer. He has the ability to convey emotions using just body posture and facial expressions, which is a rare talent in people who haven't been professional trained.
Oguri Shun [小栗旬] A lot of different roles, he does a great job of conveying the more subtle emotions that are the motivation for his character's actions ^^
Okada Junichi [岡田准一] We've only seen him in Kisarazu and Tiger & Dragon, but he seems to be very talented ^^
Sakurai Sho [櫻井翔] Hey, it's Sho ^^;; How could we not vote for him? ^^
Tsukamoto Takashi [塚本高史] We first noticed him in Battle Royale, and have never been disappointed in the few dramas that we've seen him in. We've usually seen him in intense roles, but Tiger & Dragon is showing us the more comedic side ^^
